My advice to aspiring engineers and rocket scientists is to establish good study habits and work ethics now. Focus on learning, not memorizing. Know that math is a tool in the engineer’s toolbox and that physics is the core of all engineering. And don’t forget language. Many accidents are preceded by miscommunication. Most importantly, get into the workplace as soon as you can, via volunteer, intern, or coop programs. That’s where you will get hands-on experience working with hardware and creating innovative solutions for space flight.
